An accomplished, goal-oriented executive with over 20 years experience, Ms. Fraser, Principal and Co-Founder of B2B Marketing Excellence, offers a proven track record in integrated communications, branding, strategic planning, and organizational leadership in both the federal and commercial sectors. She has significant experience in developing growth strategies, leading multi-functional teams, and advising senior executives.  Ms. Fraser specializes in bringing commercial best practices in messaging and positioning, integrated communications planning, and meeting facilitation to her customers.

Ms. Fraser’s strengths come from her ability to work with an organization and add value immediately. With her extensive executive level experience, she is able to quickly assess the organization’s business needs, identify the strengths and challenges, review her findings, recommend a course of action in collaboration with her clients, and work with them to execute efficiently and effectively. As a benefit to her clients and the overall organization, she mentors the team, transfers knowledge, and produces results.

In her ten years as a consultant, she has enjoyed strong relationships with clients such as the U.S. Coast Guard, DHS, DOJ, Treasury, Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC), ISOC, the Regional Health Information Organization (RHIO), American Insurance Association, Northern Virginia Health Force, Virginia RIO, Signature Theatre, Helen Hayes Awards, Verizon, Siemens, VeriSign, Cable & Wireless, AMS (now CGI), Touchstone Consulting, Elbit Systems of America, WilTel Communications, FreeFlight Systems, and SAIC.

She has worked with numerous corporations to build their brands as a strategic corporate asset in both the commercial and government markets.  Teaming with creative directors and communications consultants, she has led initiatives to develop the corporate strategy, create and implement the Brand Asset ProgramSM, unify visual identities among multiple divisions, and launch companies using the integrated communications plan as the platform.  In one client engagement, the brand strategy she architected was so successful in the U.S. that the global parent company adopted it for worldwide implementation.  For clients focusing on exit strategies, Ms. Fraser has worked to build their brand program and growth strategies, resulting in valuations that exceeded the industry norms during acquisition.

In addition to her strategic branding work, Ms. Fraser advises numerous CEOs on their most challenging business issues ranging from building an effective sales operation to developing creative integrated communications programs to support major government procurements.  On the social media front, Ms. Fraser works with her clients to develop integrated communications plans that blend both new and traditional media to position them to achieve their business objectives.   Most notable was her integrated communications work with a wireless coalition that led to meeting their business goal of increasing its membership on an accelerated schedule.

Ms. Fraser’s many assignments have also included transforming departments into high performing organizations. During one engagement, Ms. Fraser led the public sector communications department for a high tech company. In that role, she developed the strategic marketing plan that aligned the group with the company’s business goals. Moreover, together with her team, she executed the organizational transformation program that resulted in repositioning product offerings, launching new services, and supporting major procurements. The collaborative approach and overall success of the programs inspired others to emulate them.

Prior to launching her consulting business, Ms. Fraser held executive level positions at NextWave Wireless, AMSC (now TerreStar Corp.), and Sprint Communications.  She started her career on Capitol Hill as a legislative assistant and then as a lobbyist for Sprint and GTE Corporation.

Ms. Fraser holds a Master in Business Administration, with a concentration in Marketing, from George Washington University, and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Smith College. She has won several accolades, including Federal Computer Weeks’ Fed 100 industry award, the GTE Outstanding Achievement award, and the McKinley Marketing Partners “Star” award. Active in the community, Ms. Fraser serves on the Board of Directors for Signature Theatre and Fairfax Futures. For the last five years, she taught Marketing in the High Tech Age as an Adjunct Professor at George Mason University’s Technology Management Graduate Program for Executives.
